It's been a long time coming...

       I know I have been slacking as of late and I am sorry.  Truly I am.  The weekend was wonderful!  The big news isn't all that big to the average family reader, but I hosted a surprise going-away party for one of my old roommates Tammy.  Tammy is leaving on the 7th to teach English in Japan.  She's signed a contract for 2  years but has the option of backing out after the end of the first year.  Anyways, the party went very well and Tammy was very surprised.  The first of our guests arrived on Friday evening and the last left on Monday evening.  All in all, it was a wonderful weekend.  It's always great to get the old college crew together.  :)  Wow, it seems so crazy that we're already the "old college crew."  It seems like just a few months ago that I was packing up my room to move to college as a freshman.  My how time flies...

       Got to go dress shopping for Rach with Mom O'Keefe and Linda last night.  We found a dress that could potentially work but I think they're going to keep looking.  Either way, Rach looked super cute! :)  Since we were driving right past on the way back to the O'Keefe's, we stopped at OUR O'Keefe house so Rach could see the place.  There was a short ping pong game but everyone had to get going as it was almost 10pm already.  Yup, we're all getting older and 10pm is to late to stay up apparently.

       Not a lot of other really big news... Tim and I are getting ready for our anniversary weekend getaway.  It'll be fun to go somewhere for a few days.  I figure it'll get us in the vacation mode for next week. :)
